Description: H. 6.2cm, diam. at rim 4.3cm, max. diam. 6.3cm. Some of the paint has worn off; areas especially affected are the mouth and shoulder. Buff clay. On the mouth one wide black band and the faint remains of a narrow black band on the edge; there are traces of thin brown bands around the lower part of the very thick lip, and dots on the shoulder. The main decoration is a quatrefoil in red, black and brown paint. There is a large dot of black paint on the back, possibly the beginning of another decoration that has not been completed, such as suggested for the line on the back of University of Reading 11.x.11 (CVA Great Britain 12 pl. 5, 4a, 4b).
