Description: H. 32cm. Broken and mended, with two small pieces missing from the body and two pieces missing from the lip. Slight grey accretion on body. Bichrome, with decoration in faded black and red paint. Shoulder-handled amphora. Narrow and wide bands decorate the interior and exterior of the mouth, as well as the neck and body; the foot and ring base are reserved. Each handle is painted black, with two lines extending down past the edges of the handle, bisecting the horizontal lines but not extending past the area of decoration. On the shoulder, a row of eight concentric circles.
Date: Cypro-Archaic, c. 750-600 B.C.
Discussion: Similar in style and decoration to Birmingham Museum 19.60, CA # 51/2.
