Description: H. 17.1cm, diam. 5.9cm. Upper section of neck lost. Worn and chipped, especially at the base. Extensive white encrustation. Medium texture brown clay, brown/black paint, incised decoration. Slightly concave base, flattened body and a pierced vertical handle at the base of the neck. Three lugs on each side separated by incised horizontal lines. Each face is decorated with a central vertical line with dots to either side. Vertical lines to either side of this central motif.
Date: Middle Bronze Age, c. 1900-1650 B.C.
Discussion: The flattened shape and lugs are typical of Middle Bronze Age Cypriot flasks. For shape cf. Morris p. 66, pl. 98b.
