| Discussion: |
B-Ware is the earliest and most distinctive of the Badarian pottery types. The decoration was produced by placing the red-hot vessel into the burning embers of a fire. Cf. G. Brunton, Qau and Badari II (1928), pl. XX; illustration and discussion could be found here as of fall 1998. |
