Description:	East pediment, temple of Aphaia, Aegina. Munich Glyptothek. H. 0.28m. Head of male soldier. Protruding almond-shaped eyes, straight nose, full lips in an almost archaic grin. Small ears, stylised hair with three rows of curls surrounding the forehead, waving back in low relief lines to the crown of the head.
