Sir Rory Tutor of Shintail: I have it still ready to go along with me; I did design to Cause brush it and dress it up, but I was advised by some of your friends and mine to keep it in the old rusty dress it is in till I put it in your Lords[hi]p’s hands, which I am fully resolved to Do as soon as ever I am able to ride that length in any shape, for there is nothing I long more for than to have the honour to see your Lords[hi]p in your own house, for I am with the utmost esteem and respect
